    They are probly wood mites if they come from TSC. Harmless to the snakes but annoying none the less.

    sorry got excited lol yes very bothersome to me and to my boa..little black mites..look just like normal reptile mites to me

    Well I may be wrong. Black would indicate reptile mites but why would they be in wood bags found at TSC. I don't know how long they can survive without a reptile host. Hmmmmm

    Idk..the place where i get most of my herp supplies...feeders..and where fiancée is fixin to work at soon, just discovered the source this evening..i swear they are reptile mites...he was bedding up tonight and he had em crawling up his arm...he gets all the aspen bales from TSC
