    Unique or Morph?
I have a baby ball python who I rescued. I don't know where she was bought or for how much. So I want to know, does she look normal to you? I think there is something unique about her. Normal ball pythons have the alien heads or key holes, but she only has 4 on her entire body, 2 on each side near the middle. The rest of her pattern is abstract. She has a high white and a bit of blushing, but not much. Only around her head and near her belly. Her black is really black and her brown is pretty dark. It gets lighter as you get closer to her belly. She also doesn't have the stripes on her back. They are there, but they aren't separate stripes. They are part of her patterns down her side. Here are a couple pictures of her (I can get more if needed. She's on my lap now):

The only alien heads she has can be seen in this picture.

*I have another picture of her belly, but flickr isn't uploading my pictures for some reason. I will try again soon.

    Haters gonna hate.

Anyways, until you prove otherwise, she's a normal. But she is a nifty abstract normal! There are quite a few extremely subtle/hard to ID morphs that do amazing thing, but the chance she is one of them is very slim. It shouldn't keep you from hoping/planing/thinking about possibilities though! If I had to choose some boyfriends for her, I would say Black pastel, Mojave, or Yb. Those are just my thoughts on what might pair well with her and make pretty babies :)

If you're not looking to breed/thinking about that, and just curious on if she's a morph, then there isn't much we can do for you. She's not an "obvious" morph, so she is a normal until proven otherwise :)

Agreed, pretty but normal :) At least she's a female and she is definately worth breeding in the future to a nice morph male!

I think I am going to breed her in a couple years when she is up to size, of course after MUCH more research. I know the basics, but there is just so much to learn! :) I love it. And I was thinking a Mojave too! I think those would be pretty babies. A black pastel would be nice too! Thank you.
