Stunning Hybrid - Imperial King - Cali KIng x Pueblan Milk !!!

Just had to share a pic of my new acquisition .



It probably isn't to everyone's taste but I've wanted this little beauty from the moment I saw it ( about 7 months ago ) .

Looking into his history and genetics , as we speak .

what imperial pueblans are supposed to be:

it all starts with a male pueblan bred to a newport phase california king female. the newport phase is a codom striped mutation and any offspring showing that striped trait would be bred back to an unrelated pueblan. those selected offspring will be bred back together, giving you a 75% pueblan 25% cal king hybrid.

that's been the definition of imperial for over a decade.

Looks about right :)

Still awaiting genetic history but this is what I've found so far ...

" Imperials tend to be 25% Cali king and 75% Pueblan.
The albino comes from the cali king.

Mine is almost certainly second generation and is probably .......

'Amel x het Amel Imperial': so an albino Imperial bred with a het albino Imperial.

This goes "way" over my head as I don't breed .

I'm not a hybrid fan, but that is an awesome looking snake.
