good signs or what?

I have been finding this het pied girl like this the last few weeks. She has been off of food since november and has actually gained weight. She has been laying in the middle of her tub too, more towards the hot side. What does everyone think?

She looks pretty heavy on the lower end and laying in a coil like that with tail in the center. She looks very much gravid and ready to drop eggs any time.
I take it you didn't know how to palpate or haven't paid attention to her shed cycles to know what stage she was in. Either way I hope you have your bator ready.

i did palpate her about a month ago and felt some follicles but nothing big. I keep a record log of all my snakes which include feed cycles, sheds, and monthly weigh-ins. She hasn't shed since December 15th. Yes I do have my incubator ready, been running for over a two months now with water, two tubs with vermiculite and stable at 89 to 90 degrees constant. Thanks for the input.

Personally she doesn't seem very big... But she seems to be on schedule... But My question is..... Why is there a can of PAM in the cage...? :confusd:

hmm well have you tried to gently palpate her recently? If her latter half feels really soft, like waterballoon-ish then she is definitely gravid. Even holding her and letting her body hang freely for a second should let you see whats going on.
Either she is just laying funny and has a huge case of sausage butt or she is gravid;but being gravid and not having shed in 3 months doesn't sound very accurate?

i would assume he did this so we can get a size comparison to her girth.

Yea the pam is for size comparison. I didn't have a tennis ball clean like most I see lol. I'll try seeing how soft she is tomorrow after work.

i checked on her tonight. She is a little soft about 2/3 down her body to her vent. Also, when i let her hang freely I don't see lumps or an egg bulge. So I think that she is building.
