Snake Farts

So...I was sitting in my room playing some Duty, and I heard what sounded like a loud queef! lol...I was the only one in the room. Look over at my ball python Dime, and he was out and about tounge flicking looking all guilty. Do snakes fart? Do they expel air that would sound like a fart? Through the vent or labial pits or mouth?

Lol I have heard something like that happen with my spider once, and I was alone in the room too, It freaked me out at first, but I'm pretty sure all animals can expel gas or fart, its just not as often or generally as audible as people's so when it happens we are like.... what....

but I am not an expert on snake gas. lol

Yes they do. There was a hugely long winded thread here not too long ago of people recounting their balls farting. It was hilarious...I'll try and find it.

lol..good stuff. ill take a look. thanks. i wasn't sure, and thought maybe he was sick or something. he displays no signs of illness at all so i wasn't worried. thought maybe it was the beginning of an ri or something. i don't even know what symptoms of something like that are. never looked because it didn't worry me because he has no symptoms other than a whooshing sound, and i wasn't sure if he was farting or expeling air through is nose or something. thanks.
