Stumped on feeding... help :/ Hopper is too small and small rat is too big.
My BP weighs 100g and the hopper weighs 8 grams and the small rat is 19... so which one? He has had three good meals and they have all been hoppers, but they are half the size of the largest width of his tummy. But the rat seems a little big. Stumped :/ help

No, overfeeding is hard on their digestion but feeding 2 hoppers = 1 appropriately sized rodent.

I always do smaller rather than larger. You could also do two hoppers until he can take down the one rat. That's how I transfer mine to the next size up, a few smaller ones at feeding time then when they get a little bigger a single then repeat next time around when they outgrow there food.

You can stick to the same schedule still because all you're doing giving him say, two snacks? It's like you eat a pound hamburger every few days, you can half the sandwich and eat Two half pound patties instead of one whole and it's still the same.
