I'm hesitant to place the snakes back in the tubs without being 110% percent certain that it is dry.

How long do you typically wait to place the snake back in the tub after treating with P-A-M?

I would wait until there is no smell and no residue from the spray. I would wait a few hours to be safe.

I'm pretty sure the instructions says 15 mins or so. But I always wait an hour and leave them outside.

I've used it both inside and out. Minimum wait time for me is 45 minutes. After about an hour I can stick my head in the cage and not smell anything. That's how I know it's dried. I always make sure to turn off my ceiling fan before spraying so the mist stays in the cage.
