Wiring Parallel vs Singles THG heat tape
Just putting some finishing touches on my new rack I built. I went out today to pick up the heat tape and everything needed. Including a new ve-200 T-stat.
I was originally going to wire each piece of THG in parallel. But the seller was out of single metal clips, and had wired ones only.
So now Im sitting with a bunch of metal connectors already wired each with their own plug.
Would there be any difference between plugging them all into a power bar and connecting the power bar to the VE-200 OR Uncrimping the ends and rewiring it in Parallel?
I'm just trying to see if its worth the work of prying the wires out and redoing everything, or just using them as is in a power bar.
Will everything be just as consistent?

Why would you pry off the connectors though? Just cut the wires and splice them back together in a parallel configuration.
You are correct, I could do it in that fashion as well. It would save me the trouble of trying to open a crimped end.
Thanks for your input. I'll probably just skip doing any more wiring and put the singles into a power bar if it makes no difference in consistency.
