Inverted

Just want ed to check on progress. Female had post ovy shed on March 1st, I checked her this morning and about 1/3 to 1/2 of her body was inverted. She is on day 25. Eggs on the way?

So...if you know she had her post-OVY shed, then you know she ovulated, so you know eggs are on the way. ;) If you're asking are they coming soon, then it depends on how far down her body they have moved. Pics?

I will try to get some pics up after work. I was just curious about the laying inverted so close to the lay date. I know that inverted goes along with building but just not sure if they will invert to get ready to lay.

They lay like really upside down when they are getting close. I've heard it's to do with re arranging the eggs but don't quote me in that. Here is a pic of my girl a few weeks before laying last year.

They seem to do it at a lot of different stages throughout breeding season. They can certainly do it close to laying to move the eggs closer to the vent. My girl this year had them close to her vent for at least two weeks.
