    Dinker opinions/advice
Hi folks, I'm looking for some advice on what to do with this guy.
He's a 2010 CF male, weights in at roughly 1500g give or take a few grams.
Has a bit of a granite look going on, pretty light in colour, lots of blushing, 95% clear belly and
    a bronze/coppery head.

He's been locked with a nice big wildtype female several times and i should have some eggs in the not too distant future. Now i know most people will probably say he's unlikely to pass on the genetics but I'd already decided it was worth a shot just in the off chance.

So My question is this, do i wait an see what i get from this clutch before i pair my morph females (3) to the other males ?
my reasoning being that if he proves genetic and i breed the females i have to other males it will be another year, possibly 2 before i get the chance to breed him again and try for combo's.

    any thoughts ??
does that even make sense ?lol

I'm not the best at photography and just cant get his colour right, I'd have taken him into the garden but it's covered in snow lol
    anyway here he is :

    He definitely have Granite Look...

If You have other "morph" males with You can put to your Morph Females.. i will do that first.. With Granite looking Animals there is always chance that they just look Granite nothing Else... If he was female then I will definitely but some "morph" male to "her" ... but with male I will prove him first with "normals" then go with some morph like pinstripe or lesser and see what will pop up...

Looks granite like, and may or may not be genetic.

    Thanks for the advice :gj:
I'll just pair the others up and wait and see what happens.
I know it's a long shot that it's genetic but it does add an extra bit of excitement

Go ahead and pair with your morphs, if it's proves genetic at least you'd have a head start, if it's not then at least you'd know

This was my thinking, I think that I'm going to go ahead and pair the morphs except for the pastel female. I'll hang off on her just in-case :please:

I agree with waiting to see what you get with the first clutch. I am not much of a male dinker fan unless they are something really unique and your guy just kooks normal with some granite speckling....most of the time that is not genetic. Not sure I would waste your female morphs just yet. Not saying don't breed him, just saying wait and see what he gives you. Part of dinking is being patient. Sucks but don't rush into breeding him to 3 females and then he throws you a clutch of all perfectly normal babies and you kick yourself. Pls post pics of clutch!! We want to see. :)

I agree, he looks granitey. If you like him and have faith in his pattern being genetic, why not try?
