    Hello everyone :-)

A couple of times a day during my time at home I hear a sqeaking sound from my ball python. His eyes looks like he is about to shed. Is that relatet to shedding?

At first I actually considered if snakes could fart and thats what I heard lol

Not sure about the squeaking, but based on other posts here snakes can and do fart, sometimes quite loudly.

Could be some stuck shed in his nostrils whistling. But a couple of my bp squeak and whistle when they breath when I have them out handling them. I don't know why, but they stop once they calm down.

In addition to all the noises they can make with breathing digestion (stomachs growl too) They often make things make noises scales on some plastics make a sounds squeaky scratchy sounds and if everything is correct it can be quite loud. One of mine wedges a plastic hide into the corner and exits from under neath and manages to vibrate the side. It groans hard to describe but the plastic and scales make a deep throbbing low grown it freaked me out until I figured out what it was.
