My Ball Python diagnosed with RI! Tips?
recently ive been hearing my ball breathe like she has a cold, and also random wheezing frequently so i took her to the vet. The vet didn't see any mucus in her mouth or anything, but she heard clicking when she put her face up to her ear, and she says that means she's in the early stages of RI. She gave me a small bottle of antibiotics and told me to inject in her mouth every other day. Really worried about her, hope she gets better soon! even though it cost me $70  any tips on my situation?:(

A million bucks days your snake is going into shed. Vet sounds like an idiot. (As most are, I'm finding)
Did your vet do a culture to find out what bacteria was causing this "RI?"

No she didn't. She was handling her roughly which i didn't really like. I told her she was about to go into shed, and showed her the pink belly. She said shes not going into shed, and albinos have see thru skin and "it's probably vessels". she also said albinos would be very pale and white, with hazed over eyes..

How are you heating the enclosure and how are you measuring those temps? If she has prolonged belly pinking I would be checking the heat source.
What did the vet inject?
