    Hi there, im new around here and new to snakes. I just wanted to introduce myself, the name is Joe and if any of you have any advice for a new snake keeper please don hesitate to hit me with it. For what its worth the snake i chose was a ball python i just got her the other night!

    Ive actually got a question for you guys. Whats a good amount to handle my ball python? I dont want to be over doing it, she is just so beautiful to look at.

    You generally want to wait a week or two to let the snake settle in and acclimate to the new environment. My rule of thumb for new additions is to only handle for cleaning the enclosure until they've fed three times for me. That's usually two to three weeks on my feeding schedule... Ball pythons can be picky eaters and added stress can cause them to refuse, which is why I go by feedings, not time.
