    A suprise shed?
Each time one of my BPs have shed, there has been the typical signs of blue eyes and pink belly. Well this evening I opened the rack that had my Butter Spider since I assumed she had done her usual "lets mess up the paper towels" act. When I opened the bin I came across her halfway through her shed (should have snapped some photos). It caught me off guard since in the days leading up there were no visual signs. I was assuming she would be shedding soon since my Hypo shed two days ago and my Normal will be shedding at a moments notice (they've all shed within a one week span of each other in the past). Has anyone come across a shed when there were no previous signs? Just curious.

I've noticed the time leading up to a shed varies, I've had a pre-shed cycle that lasted for about 2 weeks, and one that lasted about five days. If you didn't look at her for a day, perhaps you could've missed the obvious blue eyes etc part?

My girl went from pink to shed in exactly a week. Some take longer, some take shorter. It's possible you missed her being in blue.

Yeah I suppose, it would explain her not wanting a rat the other day?
