    Always moving around
I just got my first normal bp he is young too. I wonder why pretty much every time I take him out of his tank he always moves and wont stop, but if I put him around my neck he only chills there for a bit and then try's to go down my back or somewhere else. Is this normal to always moving around?

Yep, some snakes do tend to move around more than others. A young one especially may not feel secure in being handled, so it is cruising around to see if there is a place it feels more comfortable hiding. I only have a couple of adult ball pythons that will stay still for any length of time, most of them do tend to move around while they're out.
