    Preference when buying a T - by age/size.
    Simple issue as a rookie T keeper.

    Have:
    .5" PZB.

    Shop in my town has what look to be sub-adult:
    Arizona Blonde, Chilean Rose Hair, and a B. smithi. possibly females. These three are on my want list.


    Buy a sling in the above species want list. Raise it. Watch it grow and molt and eat and grow. For years even.

    OR

    Buy a 1" - 2" or even older. Throw an juve/young adult into the mix. Get that BIG T NOW fix.

    I'm putting up a separate area. That will be able to fit those long/low T terrs. So it would be nice to have some display animals.

    Not really looking to handle. I have my snakes and dog for that

    So buy a sling, pay less, enjoy the husbandry. OR Instant gratification of a large T now.

    Long way raising! I always enjoy that better but we live in an instant gratification world so I like taking the slow route at times get more enjoyment outta the one task

    agreed. its hard to resist a big one with all her colors. but watching gobble food and grow is always fun.
