Some 2nd instar tarantula pics
Pterinochilus murinus - These are from a WC male and one of the girls produced here a few years back. It was a very largely infertile eggsac. On the plus side just over one dozen slings made it to 2nd instar.

Tapinauchenius gigas. This was my first try at this species and represents the 34th species I've successfully mated and produced!

This is a bitter sweet victory. This Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens spiderling represents the 35th species I've mated and received at least one successful 2nd instar from since 2009. In this case it was literally only 1 spiderling. Only 3 made it to 1i and this is the one lucky survivor. It already has a home on my "keeper slings" shelf. I have a few fresh mature males and some recently molted females so I'm hoping the next GBB sling pics have dozens sitting together and not a lone spider.
