    Strange behavior?
So my bp ate for the first time today. I've had him 3 days.

I would've thought after eating he would go lie down on the UTH and warm up.
That wasn't the case though, he is currently doing his best green tree python impersonation and sleeping up top on a jungle vine.

The heat up there isn't the best though, should I be worried about this behavior?
Anyone else seen a bp hang out up on a vine?

If your temps are good it doesn't matter where it lays. My first thought is the hot spot might be to warm if it is choosing to lay in the open off the ground. How are you providing the hotspot and what did you measure it with (probe, tempgun)?

    Hotspot temp?

    Ambient temp?

You might think the temps are right, but I finally got a temp gun last week and realized that my Carpet Python probably shouldn't be sleeping on a 98 Degree spot (no wonder he just sits on stuff like yours).

x2. If you don't have a temp gun, invest in one. The difference you see is amazing. There are some nice cheap ones on amazon.
