Ways to get the tank warm without warming room.
Well I have started prepping for a new BP and while the temps and humidity are fine(79-82 degrees and 65-69%),my room is blistering hot.I like my room in the 60s tughto very low 70s.Is there a way to keep my room cool while keeping the tank warm enough still?(already using a heat lamp as well)

60s are cool to me lol. I keep my room like low 70s year round. I thought i was weird for feeling hot when the room hits mid 70s. You must be like a yeti lol.

If you are using tanks there is no reason to heat the entire room
Tubs on the other hand require a heated room. No way around it.
Well it's a 20 gallon long.Zoo med heat mat on hot side with a 92 degree hotspot.Heat Lamp over top of right side and foil covered screen top.Using cypress mulch with a little bit of aspen. And the tank usually is around the same temp of the room.Varying a few degrees here and there.

What wattage bulb are you using? There is 0 reason to heat a room for a glass tank, just get a higher wattage bulb.

x2
I have just about every bulb under the sun. (Everything from 40-100). I sucks, I know, but that's what you gotta do. I even need two lamps in the winter because it's so cold up here.
