Really Worried About This Dimpling In The Eggs...Think They're Saveable?
So, these were laid on the 3rd. The dimpling really freaked me out, so three days ago, we followed advice we'd received and sealed up the egg box with press n' seal and added a bit more water to our 1 to 1 by weight ratio. We sealed it up, but decided to candle today to make sure the veins were still strong and they haven't perked up really. The veins all look good and strong, but I'm still FREAKED out. What else can I do for them? Or, should I just shut up and quit worrying? How long before they round out again? Or do they?

If they still look like they do in this picture I would say they will be fine. You may want to switch them over to "substrateless" and put them on a grate and then just soak the vermiculite however.

Our very first clutch did the same thing,my husband was a nervous freak about it & kept wanting to cut the eggs to be sure they were ok. I made him wait till day 55(?) &sure enough... they were fine. keep your temps & humidity at the right levels then sit back & enjoy the magic of hatching day!
