    Feed?
So I'm doing research to see if I want to breed this next season and figuring out prices and such but the one thing I can't find is:
How often do you need to feed the hatchlings?

This is a very important factor into whether or not I can afford to get into breeding this year or not haha

    Re: Feed?
This is my personal op on feeding hatchlings. I feed every 5-7 days to maintain the ones I am not planning on keeping. If I am planning to keep them, I feed every 3-5 days until they are 300 grams. At 300 grams I feed every 5 days until they are about 500-600 grams at which time they move into a 7 day rotation with my adults.

I feed them every 3 or 4 days till they hit about 300g then I cut back to 5 to 7 days.

Not to be the wet blanket, but it feeding frequency is enough to make you unable to afford breeding, then you definitely can't afford it if something goes wrong with one of the animals (RI from breeding stress, problem hatchling, etc.). Perhaps you should save up and wait a year, or at least make sure you stick to only one pairing to minimize the number of babies you are dealing with in your first year.
