    Male Lying Inverted?
I just witnessed my male lesser laying inverted under his hide. This is the first time I have ever seen this. Does it mean anything? It's been an eventful week for him. I just paired him for the first time on Saturday. I didn't witness any locks. I pulled him out last night and he ate a small rat. I also noticed his belly just turned pink so he is getting ready for a shed (he's overdue). I had planned to give him three days off and pair him back again but should I wait till shed is over? Also, if anyone know what the inverted thing means, if anything, it's appreciated.

    Regards,

    J

The inverted might mean he's trying to cool his belly, what are the temps he's in?

I don't pair males that have started their shed cycle because most of the time they just curl up and ignore the females.

Temps are the first thing I thought of. Hottest spot was 88. I'll hold off pairing until he sheds.

    Hi,

I think it is related to granpa undoing the buttons on his trousers and lying oddly in the chair after a heavy Xmas dinner.

    :)

I have a male that often lays inverted. He's just "special!" That's how he sleeps. If I disturb him when he's laid down like that he goes all crazy and tries to eat me, but if he's not like that I know it's safe to put my hand in his tub.
