A few photos of my new rats

I'm working up a colony of rats to breed, since my source of f/t is becoming extremely unreliable. Most of these rats are too young and will need to grow up a bit, but I wanted to share. :)

So far just simple blacks and beige in a few different markings. Yesterday I picked up a few mink and what I believe is a cinnamon, but haven't taken photos of them yet.

I was thinking that when I posted the photo, but nope. In person she's got two ruby eyes.

Glad to hear you're breeding rats again. Your knowledge with these little guys are vast.

I'll admit I feel a little rusty... it's been over 2 years since my last litter! But it's like getting back on a bike. ;)

Not sure what was going on here, but I thought it was a funny picture. The black sure came out glossy, and a good contrast to the one in back. The one in back is either one really crappy black, or she's "charcoal" (unstandardized color, basically a bad black due to carried recessives).
