Possible to have different sized tubs in same rack?
Well I want to build a small rack, maybe 3 or 4 shelves high. Problem is, I'm probably going to add 2 baby BP's, which I would put in 6qt tubs, but my dumerils and my female BP are in 41 qts. Is there anyway I could put these different sized tubs in the same rack, while still achieving optimal temperatures? I was thinking of using back heat. Maybe I'm just going blank on good ideas, so any help would be appreciated greatly :)

Oh and p.s. it's going to be a closed air rack, probably made out of melamine

I have not seen 6 and 41 in the same rack.

AP makes a rack that does 15 and 32qt in the same rack, as they are the same height and you can just fit two Sterlite 15s in the place of one 32..

You will run in to a lot of problems evenly heating and using the same thermostat on such a big disparity in size between a 6 and a 41.

I agree, we use 11x12 inch heat tape under 41qt tubs and 3 or 4 inch under 6qt tubs.

That's what I was wondering. But would using 41s and 32s in The same rack work? I remember when I got my BP she was 110g and I had her in a 32qt. So with my new ones I might start off in a 32 qt.
the breeder I'm getting them from is a good friend of mine, I could get him to get the snakes up to about 100 grams before I purchase them.

I've raised numerous babies in 28qt tubs with no problems and they continue to be my best eaters.

My 41qt xpvc rack will take 28 or 41qt tubs

Awesome :gj: that's what I'll do then.
Do you use belly heat on all of your racks?
It's is my first time building a rack, so I'm not sure.
