Yesterday was a day of firsts! A week ago I found a post with someone mentioning a digital scale on amazon.com that I bought for only 2.68$. You can't beat that. The scale came yesterday in the mail and I weighed my two boys. My Spider is about 270g and the Spider Mojave is 340g. <--He's is growing so fast! 2 weeks ago I bumped them up to weaned rats. In that time they both had a great shed. Last night the spider mojave(Tweak) had just finished his shed, and I reached in to get it out of there and received a bite. It was exhilarating to say the least. I've had 8 snakes in the last 3 years and that was my first bite. I would post a pic but it was such a fast defensive strike it left a mark so small that my camera wouldn't even pick up. Is it weird that I was disappointed in such a small first bite? Since they both shed I offered some food tonight. Here's a pic taken a few minutes ago.
New scale, glad to have it. Goes up to 5,000g.
