Need some help with some cage sizing!!!
So, I am wanting to get my yellow anaconda a new enclosure when she gets done with her QT instead of using this crappy 75 gal I got. So, I am wanting to buy some pre built Terrestrial Cages from Animal plastics or similar. I am looking at sizes on there, and I am also going to go ahead and get my Dumerils, Hog Island and BRB cages x2 (going to get male versions of all and start some awesome breeding projects!!!).

    So basically:

2 Cages for Yellow anaconda Female and Male

2 cages for a male and female Dumerils boas

2 cages for a male and female Hog Island Boas

    and

2 cages for a male and female Brazilian Rainbow Boas

If any one can put any input on this for even just one species, I will be grateful!!

Also, if anyone would like to share their experience with any of these companies, that would also be cool!

    Thanks in advance!

I can't really say anything on the pre-made caging but as for your dumerils mine do just fine in iris ve-175w tubs. They are 56"L X 20"w x 14"t with lid and 12"t without. I would imagine that would be fine for the brb's also. (no personal experience with brb's) The tubs are Xmas tree storage totes that you find at Walmart during the holiday season. I also use sterilite stands to make racks to hold them. There's a thread in the DIY section that will give simular how to directions for the rack. I use plywood to cover the bottom and flip the shelves upside down to be the tops. Four of the 4 high with solid shelves work out great for a 3 high rack. They run $20 each for the stands and $29 each for the tubs. So for a rack of 3 tubs its roughly $260 that's counting screws plywood and heat. Sorry I'm not much help with the actual question.

AP is a great company and ConstrictorsNW (ProLine/ProStack) is also a good choice. I think you'd be happy with either.

For both Hog Islands and the Dumerils, I would suggest the AP T10. That is the 48x24x15 and is a good size for probably both hogs and the male Dum. You might want to go to a 5ft long cage for the female Dum which you could special order from AP or you could get the T13 (48x30x18) which should offer about the same square footage as a 5ft long that's only 24" wide. But if your female Dum doesn't get huge, she would probably also be ok in the T10. Hope that all made sense..... :P

The BRBs should be fine in the T10s as well I would think. I would get the shelf with those 2 though. :gj:
