This may seem like a silly Q, but where can I get a scale to weigh Soph (and the new guy we're getting next Wednesday)? I've started a diary for Sophie where I keep track of her feeding, bathroom habits, sheds, temp/humidity, etc., etc....would like to be able to track her weight as well (w/o having to take her to the vet constantly).

I use a cheap food scale. I got it at walmart for like 6 bux. Its an analog scale as suppose to a digital one but its adjustable to allow for the weight of the container and it comes with a clear bowl. A digital scale is around 50bux but you can find one on ebay for like 30.

I've found some really nice ones at this, umm, shop I go to once in awhile, but they're waaaay too expensive. I'm making a walmart run tomorrow (payday, yea!!!!), so I'll check 'em out. I'm gonna check out ebay right now though....didn't think of that, thanks!!

Here is a picture of it. It weighs in 20 gram increments and has a capacity of 3500 grams.

Damien, I have the same model. :)

Caren, I don't think those scales generally go up high enough to weigh an adult. ;)

So I can probably find it in the 'utensil/kitchen stuff' area?

Hahahah soph soph I know what kind of shop you mean.

Wally world also has digi's for $30 - should be sitting with all the analog ones in the waffle-iron and wok aisle - and yes they do grams, shveet.

Hehehe...Shame on me for getting the joke between Sophie and Smulkin...

I can see that that scale goes up to 3500 grams...but do you need to find something bigger to hold the adult bp in when weighing? I'm trying to picture a 3500 gram female in that bowl!
