you know, its kinda a pain in the butt sometimes waiting for your snake to shed. its a test on how your doing with your husbandry. i passed my first test with an A+ and a perfect shed. now im waiting for shed #2. his eyes have cleared up, so any day now. about how long after their eyes clear up does it take for them to shed?
-
Generally anywhere between about 3 and 7 days, but it can even take longer than that. Good luck for a full shed!

It took exactly a week for Sophie but her eyes never totally cleared up.....good luck!!
EDIT: Sophie's eyes cleared once she shed, after I re-read this it sounded as if I meant her eyes were still cloudy even after the shed...

It takes Jojo anywhere from a few days to about 2 weeks to shed for me after his eyes have gone clear. Just wait, it should come any day now.

well, i stuck a humid hide in there. the one with the tupperware dish that this site gives instructions for. marla, i like your idea with the cocounut fiber, im just trying to find it. to set it up, all you do is put it over a water dish in the warm side right? what about the warm hide? wouldnt you want to have that there to though?
-
Well, see, that's the genius of it. It changes -- presto! -- from a humid hide to a warm hide simply by dumping the water out. :) That does assume there's another water dish present, of course. And yes, that's all you have to do to make the hide, except for possibly cutting it down to size and definitely cutting an access hole in it somewhere.

  Definitely let me know how Rex likes the hide. I'd like to know if others' snakes like it as well as mine does.
