    Could this be a pastel?
I saw this one in a local pet store Friday and she seemed a bit off compared to the other normals in the cage with her (I'm assuming female because of her body size and stockiness). She's fairly large, looks to be in the 1500 gram range, and I know adult pastels tend to brown out. I know this isn't a very good pic, but look at her compared to the two normals. She sort of looks like a pastel to me with the tan faded head and the oddball pattern. I think I'm gonna go back tomorrow and have them get her out for me just for S & G's. I need to get rodents anyway. What do you guys think? Is the pic good enough to tell? If she's still there Monday I'll get some better pics.

OK wasn't sure. She's missing the blushing and the yellowish sides isn't she?

    Not even close.

With Pastels if you have to ask you should just walk away.

Here's my pastel for reference, she's a bit over 1000 grams:

Yeah, I'd say a really bright Normal. Here's my browned out female Pastel to show you the differences. :) Also keep in mind that Pastels have green eyes, so if the pet store snake doesn't...it more than likely is not a Pastel. ;)

Are they keeping her with all females, or are there males in that tank? She looks like she might be glowing (aka pre-ovulation), but definitely not a pastel.
