...Because today is my type 1 diabetes 10 year anniversary!
To celebrate this very crappy day, I've made myself a long island iced tea (or three...) and am marinating in dead rat aroma in my room.
The number 3 is seriously the worst number ever (3/3/03 diagnosis), and so I added 3 times the fancy fluid to my beverage. Because of symbolism and stuff.

Side note:
I have used 4 (FOUR!) ellipses on the forum in the past hour. Why.

Sorry to hear it - I'm sure it isn't easy to manage. Not to sound too responsible, but go easy on the LITs - don't want to "celebrate" your anniversary with a trip to the hospital.

23 years strong with the same diagnosis; I'd throw some back south of the north border for ya' but I'm working and my endo and I aren't seeing eye to eye on my A1C's and my tests at the moment...hang in there! An insulin pump was the best thing for mine to ever happen and they're doing incredible things with eyelet cell transfer and some other things with gene therapy. It's a diagnosis, not a death sentence...keep your chin up! :gj:
