We had an empty bird cage and in this house you can't have an empty ANYTHING for very long. So, today we went to Petsmart and purchased a parakeet :) Brought her home and let her hang out for a few hours in her new house now she is happily purched on my shoulder as I browse the forums. My son keeps wanting to hold her but can't sit still long enough for that to work.
