    Which tablet should I choose?
    Hi friends,
I am thinking about getting a tablet. My first thought was the iPad mini. I'm looking into the Samsung galaxy and the kindle fire as well. I need some assistance from others with more knowledge and experience. Here is what u would use it for:
    1. Internet. I am on this site a lot but I only have internet on my phone ( Nokia lumia 900). But I am planning on getting WI fi at home so I could connect a tablet. It is a pain to type long posts on this site from the phone and an even bigger pain to try to get pictures up.

    2. Music. I don't have ab mp3 player. I don't have a radio or a cd player in my car. I want something I can buy songs on that I can just play right from the device.

    3. Games and apps. Book keeping it record keeping type stuff, other fun stuff.
    4. Is it possible to type or save stuff from a tablet and put it on a USB drive?
    5. Maybe read books.

So, is there a tablet that is worth getting that can do things my Nokia lumia phone can't?
I would love the idea of an actual keyboard too. I have a laptop but it is just so clunky and battery life is terrible.
Any advice or reviews are welcome :)

We have the Nexus 7 tablet, and we love it... after reading up on different tablets, the Nexus 7 came out on top for price and functionality. I don't like the fact that the Kindle comes with all these ads and you have to pay MORE to take them off. Otherwise, they pop up every time you start your tablet up. Booo.... And iPad mini... just the price and the fact that you are locked in to iTunes for your music bothers me. However, I DO like the safety of Apple products.

Nexus 7 or 10 depending on your budget :)

I vote iPad all the way. I love iTunes for music. They have the most diverse app library. Even more flexibility if you jailbreak. It's probably the more expensive option, but you get what you pay for. Also do an Internet search. There are a bunch of comparative reviews.

Choose Samsung, easy to use. You can choose from their tablets according to your budget.

iPad mini. I bought my wife one for valentines day and its awesome. I feel it's a much better size than the standard one. iTunes has all the music you will ever need and it's super convenient. My father in law has the galaxy note (I know not a tablet) and he says its awesome apart from putting music on it. It's organized like you would a flash drive. Just folders with songs. Can take a while to do your own organizing on the galaxy stuff. iTunes just works. Plug in and play. All organized and perfect. That's why I have an iPhone. I live music but I want to listen to it. Not fiddle around with folders and such. Good luck. In sure any of them will do ya. I vote iPad mini tho.

My fiancé has a Kindle Fire. It is really a book reader. The browsing is not very smooth and selecting options and buttons can be a real challenge. It is also not that great for downloading things other than books. I don't enjoy using it.

I have a Pantech Element from AT&T. For $10 a month I share my data plan and have 4g on the go and it automatically hooks to my Wifi at home to save data. It has the kindle ap and functions well as a reader, i have not tried it in the sun.

It has a external sd slot for extra memory. It has a nice browser and i can not think of anything I have not been able to do with it on the web. The screen is very nice and the games are of great quality and clarity. It has Bluetooth and has a good battery life.

The keyboard has a function called Swype. It allows you to slide from key to key to spell out your words for writing. It took some getting used to and is not as fast as typing but for most of my uses it works very well. It has almost completely replaced my laptop.

It also has a camera that does video and has a flash. Best of all it is built tough and is waterproof. I did have to sign a plan but it made the tablet cheap. I have really enjoyed it and it's nice to not need wifi when I travel.

The 4g streams like a dream. Sometimes I turn off the wifi because the 4g is faster.

I would say the iPad. Honestly I wasn't a huge Apple fan since I work in I.T. I'm used to dealing with Microsoft/computers. However I must say Apple does do right with the iPad. You can you use it for music, movies, internet, pics, video. Also when I bought mine I also bought the new logitech keyboard with it. It "snaps" it with magnets, so I can use it with or without. With it, it basically acts as a laptop it's great. It also acts as a cover and stand. Here's a video on the keyboard I was talking about gotta see it to appreciate it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Kkq159FhDM

The keyboard reminds me of what's on my surface. I still say I love my Microsoft surface I've been using just that for school, and my pictures I've been putting on it and downloading everything I can ha. I do wish mine had a cd drive do any tablets have them?
