I'll post pics later but I traded my good quality pin female 1024 grams and my average 400 gram black bee female for an 1100 average female fire. Thoughts on this?

I personally would not have made that trade. You gave up a 1000g female single gene, and a 400 gram female double gene for a different 1000g single gene female that is nothing new or 'up and coming'.
Fire has been around for a long time now, and you probably could have purchased a decent size fire for much less than the value of the two snakes you traded for it (given their sizes).

    That is just my opinion.

No, my breeder has both pins and fires they are priced about the same and a good pin compared to a low fire is worth more.

If you traded something you have for something you'd rather have, then it was a good trade. That doesn't just go for snakes.

I would not have made the trade. But if you are happy then that is all that matters.

    X2.

But also like has been stated, if YOU feel like you got what you wanted then no reason not to be happy.

Money-wise, no. But if you are stoked on that Fire more than the other two, then yes.

when i start breeding, i could totally see me doing something similar. But then, the fire female really has to be of outstanding quality, and with pictures and data for both parents. Do you have pictures of both parents and data on both parents, can you get it? If its a nice snake with good paperwork covering the snake itself AND the parents of the snake, i can get behind it.

Otherwise.... i would have to agree with the community.
