Input, can't decide on next snake!
So decided the time has come to add another snake to my collection. I'm really on the fence about what to get next, as there are so many things I want! Hopefully some of you have experience with these species, and can steer me in the right direction. Ideally nothing too huge length wise, ruling out Burms and Retics.

If you vote, please give some feedback as to why you picked the one you did! Thanks!

    What species do you want?

Edit: Just saw poll! I fully recommend a Colombian BCI boa.

Out of what you listed I vote blood. They are not to long but they do get pretty hefty. They are a joy to work with and I really enjoy having mine. Just be sure your ready to have such a heavy bodied snake before getting one. I would really suggest trying to find one to handle. I think they are much different to handle then most snakes because of their body type. They are great eaters and I have not had problems getting them used to handling. My 4.5 ft female is 13 lbs and will lay with you forever.

For some reason I'm drawn to their thick bodies. They are special.

It seems like all the choices are pretty even, there's really nothing pulling far and ahead.

My main issue with getting a blood python is I hear they can be tougher to work with, attitude wise. They don't get super big length wise, but are real chubby looking, which I like.

Carpets in general seem like they'd be more active and display better, in addition to not getting overly large. I do have a taller cage that currently isn't in use at all, which is why I was considering one of them.

Red tails get the biggest of the bunch, which is the main factor in me being so unsure of them. I don't know if I have the room for an adult bcc and it'd be irresponsible of me to get something I couldn't properly cage at adult size.

Granted, I have limited to no experience with these 3 snake types, so any personal feedback you all have would be really helpful. Thanks!
