    DIY incubator question
    Do I have to gut my cooler to make an incubator? Like do I have to take out the motor, compressor, and all that junk or can I just leave it there? When I look up all these DIYs I read that people gut them out and some just leave it alone.

    Weight it the only real difference. Mine was so heavy I couldn't move it without help but after I removed the compressor and overhead unit, this cut the weight almost in half.

    X2, Yep that's the main point of "gutting" them. It leaves you with an insulated metal box. That's what you want anyway. The rest is just parts left to rust.
