Noobie question

In every forum I go to regarding BPs or snakes in general, I notice people posting what snakes they own with some numbers beside them...for example:

0.1 Lesser x Mojave
0.2 Lesser
0.1 Fire Spider
1.0 Super Lesser

What do the numbers mean? Sorry...mega noob here. I just got my first snake a few weeks ago. :)

These numbers refer to the gender of the snake.

1.0 = 1 male

0.1 = 1 female

0.0.1 = 1 snake of unknown gender

So 2.5.7 would = 2 males, 5 females, and 7 snakes on unknown gender
