    Mites!
I *think* my snakes have mites. I brought my baby ball pythons to my boyfriends house because I wasn't able to go home the last few weeks so he was taking care of them. He recently got a ball python at a reptile show, we kept them separated. He called me this morning to tell me that his snake was soaking in the water bowl. He then remembered when he was holding my lesser he saw a small black bug on him. I'm going to assume all three snakes are now infected.

    Is this good?

I'm worried that it'll take too long to come in since it cannot be expediated and I'm in CT they are in CA. It'll be a long shipping time. What should I do? I've never experienced mites. :(

I recently had to deal with mites. Reptile Spray from Petco worked like a champ. It is safe to use on the animals and killed the mites I had in one treatment. A tried it because I didn't want to wait either, I'm glad I did.

yes that reptile spray works wonders. clean out the tank with it too. put the snake in another tub or something you can spray it with, or soak your hands in it and let it run threw your hands to make sure the snake is fully coated. put papertowel in the encloser and you are set.

evenstar just helped me with mine and he is all set.

Reptile relief isn't needed or necessary at all, personally I'd get the PAM and forgo the reptile relief.

Treated properly with PAM the mites will die as will the eggs they've already laid.
Change the bedding to paper towels while you're dealing with the treatments :gj:
