New to the snake world

Well i just bought my first snake this past friday, an 8 month old Ball python. i am exited to enter the facinating world of snakes... i hope for this to be just the start of an ever growing collection. I am yet to weigh and measure my snake, but that will be done soon, along with pics.

i just wieghed him....194 grams....is that about average for an 8 month old?

Mine is about 8 months and he weighed 207 grams a couple weeks ago.

194 grams sounds good. My '03 female eats well and is at around 220 grams.
