    Possible Female?
Okay so this weekend I got a new ball python that was labeled as an unsexed. They told me they thought it might be a male and then they told me they took it to a pet store and they said it might be a female. I already have a male and I compared it to him (I know they can't be sexed that way) but anyways the new one has a very slender and long head especially compare to my male, so could it possibley be a female?

Try and find someone local that knows how to pop them. That's the only way to know for sure other than probing, what the sex is. Looking at the head, or the tail will not accurately tell you anything. Sorry. Where are you from? Maybe so wine on here is close to you and willing to show you the ropes

I live in Kansas. Yeah, March 10 is when I'm taking it to be sexed at the reptile expo and hopefully to bring home another but a higher morph.

Is it a good idea to bring your snake to an expo? I've heard it's not....?

Just means back to quarantine, and a watchful eye for sickness.

There's really no way to tell if they are male or female just by looking at them. You would need to find someone, a breeder is my suggestion, to pop or probe the snake.

Not that this is any way to tell, but I've noticed a lot of my females have fat heads compared to the males. Granted some of my males have fat heads too, so that doesn't mean much.
