I'm about to start building my first incubator and was hoping someone with some experience could tell me if this would work.

Anyone? I'll be more specific with my question. I am wondering if maintaining temps in a larger cooler like this is harder than doing so in a smaller one. My other option is to do the camping cooler build, but doing it this way is the same $ and it will hold more clutches and has the glass front. Just looking for some input before I go get this thing. Thanks.

That looks like a perfect base for an incubator, just make sure to add a fan for circulation and you should do just fine. I would definitely use the wine cooler!

It looks good, it would be nice to have a glass front incubator.

If you plan to have a lot of clutches in the future you may just want to start out with a bigger incubator. I got a working full size fridge for $10, that I turned into an incubator, but it certainly doesn't have to work. You can always put up an ad for a non working fridge.
