New Ball Python owner needs advice!!"

I'm new to owning a ball python or a snake at that. I have had her approx 1 month. She is around 2years old. When we got her from a local pet store they feed her before we left. The next morning she had "thrown up" the mouse. We waited about 1 week and fed her again and she ate. She has only had one bowl movement that Ive seen. I thought she was about to shed, her eyes turned silver and her skin lightened. We spritzed her with water 2-3 times a day and her eyes and color went back to normal. She now looks dehydrated and she hasnt ate in about 3wks. Ive been spritzing her and have added Gatorade to her water. Also her gums arent pink but a whitish pink. I would appreciate any advice anyone could give me!!! Thank you in advanced!!
