Light colored normal or something else
I think that Katana might just be a light colored normal but let me know what you guys think to...

Here is Katana next to my normal male Alice. I never noticed how much blushing she had on her head.

So I am hoping tats if Katana does become gravid that I will end up getting babies that resemble her in some way. But if she ends up not getting pregnant she will be bred to either my pinstripe or my lesser next season. So hopefully I will get something out of that.

While she is light and lovely, she isn't a vanilla. It's so very hard to describe what to look for in a vanilla to someone. Once you've seen a good one, it stick in your mind and you can usually pick them out fairly easily. Of course, just like pastels and a number of other morphs, there are good examples and poor examples to further complicate things.

If she were my female, I would for sure put her to a lesser. The brighter the better. Pinstripe I don't think I would, unless it is a super high gold pin, the deep rich browns in a pinstripe will drown out her lightness, and her babies would not be all they could be.

If time and finances allow, I'd do my best to come up with a vanilla for her. She looks so much like the normal I made my vanillas with, and her babies were just beautiful.

For grins, here are a couple of pictures of some of my vanillas:
