There is a local Mom & Pop petstore here that is going out of business so I went by today just to look. They mostly had fish and fish supplies but they had a tiny reptile section and I saw 2 cute little lizards in a tank.

They are Tanzanian Armadillo Lizards right now they are about 3-4 inches long and look to be in good health. Since this place was closing the guy was unsure what was going to happen to these guys so he told me I could have both of them plus the tank for $25.

I planned on my first lizard being a beardie but hey these guys are pretty cool. I got them home really cleaned out the tank and got them settled in. They are fairly active but not really used to handling they got pretty squirmy when I picked them up.

I just need to find an accurate care sheet for em and get them named (I think they are a male and a female but the guy was not sure) I will be sure to post pic's as soon as possible.

Thanks guys, these little boogers are feisty no pic's as of yet but hopefully tommorow. Had one of them earlier jump out of my hand run up my arm up onto my head then jump back into his tank.

Plenty of personality on these two

LOL, ya gotta love the personalities on herps and how very different they can be. One will be super uptight, another just as mellow as the day is long, and a third just as hyper as a 4 year old hopped up on fizzy candy.
