Some people will not offer while in shed, personally I still offer. And since you said "leave it in" I'm assuming your talking about f/t. You can leave it in over night, if its still there in the morning take it out.

I feed it outside the tank, so i meant leave it as in today, ive tried feeding it with tongues, so for the time being ive put it in the box and im just going to see what happens
If it doesnt take it, should i bin the mouse?

There is no reason to feed in a different container. It will not make it aggressive and moving it around only adds stress to the situation.
I don't know what you mean by "bin the mouse."

I would suggest feeding inside the enclosure. There is really no upside to feeding in a separate container.

I just feel it should be in a different container, everyone has different ways of doing things
and im feeding it frozen thawed, so should i re freeze it or bin it?
ive never had the snake turn food down.

I throw mine out if no one takes.

Oh, trash bin.
It's not about what you feel, it's about what the snake feels. I promise it would rather stay home to eat. You will find experienced keepers feed in their snakes cages.
If I get a refused feeder I will only refreeze it one time and only if it has not been thawed long. I thaw in water so I'm usually good to refreeze. If you let it sit out to thaw I would toss it.
If it is refused a second time I will feed it to one of my other snakes.

Re: Ball Python Shed
ive put it out in his tank, should i refreeze it?
its 2:14pm so would it be safe to keep it out or would you just freeze it?
it sounds cheap of me, but i dont want to let good food go to waste, i dont have any other snakes btw
