Would you breed this Spider?
I know there is a thread going around about breeding quality stock animals. I recently picked up this 2012 female Spider from a well-known breeder. Price aside, she wowed me when I saw her for the very first time: Nice black lines, high white sides, minimal dots (like 3 on her whole body), and no noticeable wobble. I paid a little more for her than an "average" Spider. I was hoping to pick up a male Super Pastel this fall to mate her with in a couple years. I am NOT looking to be a professional breeder...just a hobbyist...but also want to make sure I am contributing to good stock and not hurting our community...Your thoughts are much appreciated.

Absolutely, I love her pattern! A super pastel would be a great match!

Sir, I nominate you for the best post of the night! Great succinct point!

I agree, she looks good. I like clean spiders, minimal to no spots.

She's better than my spider! I love her.

Would you breed this Spider?
Thanks everyone. I just want to make sure if I am successful breeding her in a couple years, I just want to make sure I will be placing good stock out there. I know even with good parents, less desirables can be made, but with only a hobbyist direction, I can spend the extra dollars to get a good start and hopefully put out more good quality snakes.
I still have plenty of time to learn...just don't have the "eye" yet...but with your help and continued patience, I know I'll be on the right path.
Again, my sincere gratitude helping me learn!

She looks great to me! I would buy a straight pastel so that you know the quality of the heterozygous individual. It can be somewhat hard to judge what a super pastel with either produce or what they came from because they can be so faded, although I've seen some that my pastel puts to shame. Either way, your call, and the spider is a stunner.

with super pastel, offspring will be 50% pastel spider 50% pastel.
with pastel, offspring will be 25% pastel spider, 25% pastel, 25% spider, 25% normal. clearly inferior.
just get a super pastel and ask for pictures of the parents.
