Ummm, Dobby shed a couple days ago, and all this time he never went in the water. Now that he has shed, I see him drinking often. He pokes his head over the side of the water dish and drinks. Just now I saw him stick his front 6 inches in the water and wave his head back and forth, bring his head up and do it again. Then he climbed up on his hammock tried to climb up the side of the tank then turned around and leaned down over the water and did it again. Reminded me of washing hair in the kitchen sink.
ooooo I just got what he is doing the smart little bugger. He is making himself "sticky." The water on his skin makes him stick to the glass so he can climb up higher to attempt to get out. hehe

Don't think he is strong enough to lift the screen top, hoodlight and melamine board off the top yet.

yeah my guy gets freaked out and won't leave his hide for ANYTHING when he's in shed mode - thankfully I've remedied my former humidity problem with the wonderful contact paper suggestion from Smulkin. :)
