If I was watching that show, I'd rather see the cobra "slap the S" out of the performer...

There y'all go, hating on people just trying to make a living.

I'm wishing them the best of luck......in winning a Darwin award.

:( that's really terrible. I have to say, I'm always quite happy and fulfilled when I see the videos or news stories about when the animals like in these cases get the better of their tormentor.

im glad that all animal shows ive ever seen were good EduTainment, entertainment but at the same time you were educated about the animals, and the animals were treated with respect.

these people abuse and hurt the snakes and even kill at least one snake per show, but also they deliver a show no first-world tourist wants to see. Its a colossal amount of ignorance: they make their own jobs less safe, risk their own health more than they would need to, hurt the animals, and all that with the result that most tourists will hate their show.

Some 1st world snake expert should team up with a tourism expert and set this place straight. it must be ignorance, because if they had a better background and more knowledge im sure they actually do not want to commit slow but certain economic suicide by risking their health by abusing snakes in public.

If you see something like this, document it with place + time, upload it, and add it to the google maps metadata and to the online reviews for that tourist destination, send it to groups that care about the specific region or the animals in question, just spread it around. Much has improved in the last 20 years, just because of better communication and more and better media.

I wonder if those guys think they're tough or if they just think the people watching them think they're tough for beating up harmless, helpless animals 1/100th their size, weight, and intellect. OK maybe comparable intellect for those guys...
