    Pastel male pairing?
I'm starting up my first breeding project this year. I have a pastel male that will be ready to breed soon. What would be some cool females to pair him up with?

Assuming he's a bright, well-colored male, you can pair him with any light/bright female (normal, enchi, fire, pastel, vanilla, lesser/butter...the list goes on).

Are you going to be purchasing ready to breed females or do you already have females ready for him? If you are buying baby females it might be a few years before any breeding gets going. Personally I love enchi and fire right now! So much to do wiht enchi and fire and just a pastel is just the beginning. I think it would be a great place to start. Good Luck, keep us posted

I'm going to be buying females, I haven't gotten any yet. I was thinking of putting him to a Spider and hope for a Bumblebee.

That would be a great place to start. You can never go wrong with a Bee. If you are looking to breed sooner rather than later, you could probably pick up a 700g female that could be ready to breed next season for anywhere between $400-$600. If you don't mind waiting a few years for her to grow up, you could get a hatchling for about $250.

PS - get ready for an addiction...:D its a fun one!

    Good luck, keep us posted.

Thanks for the price info! I might get a hatchling because the adults are a bit too pricey for me right now. I'm keeping my options open right now and there's an expo in May so hopefully I can grab a good specimen or two there.
