    Best lighting for display?
In the fish world, lighting can get pretty expensive. Anyone experiment with different lighting setups to see what brings out the best best colors in their snakes? I realize a lot of people here keep their animals on racks, which is fine, but I'm guessing there are a few that put a lot of effort into having their animals be front and center.

    Thanks,

would be awesome to see a set of what you guys think are amazing setups.

In this cage, there's a fluorescent tube light encased so the snake cannot reach it.

You can kind of see it here:

Zoo-Med Reptisun/Naturesun 2.0 bulbs. They are full spectrum bulbs that make a display cage look great.

Comparison between a normal T8 Fluorescent tube and a Zoo-Med Naturesun 2.0 bulb:

The best part is that they aren't that expensive. An 18" T8 tube runs around $20

*Note that reptisun 2.0 bulbs and Naturesun 2.0 bulbs are the same thing. Zoo-Med decided to rename their 2.0 bulbs. reptisun 2.0 is the old name, and naturesun 2.0 is the new name.

I have an exotic/reptile shop in my area that have them, but I'm sure most places don't. Even with shipping they still aren't too bad. The OP mentioned lighting for fish tanks, I have a friend with a reef tank and he spent nearly $3,000 on lighting initially and spends about $1,000 every 8-10 months on replacement bulbs. (that doesn't even account for the power bill that comes with 2800 watts of MH bulbs running 12 hours a day lol)
