    Decided to do another "Box O'" thread. I didn't throw a TON of stuff in there, just because my Desert stuff tends to want to nibble on everything. But these things are just amazing... Even with the females reproductive issues, the colors and patterns on these animals are just out of this world and still will always be a beautiful animal.

    I love the deserts but being so new to this, I haven't brought myself to investing in them yet. It's getting harder to pass them up... Even the base morph is beautiful. That little guy on the right looks like he objects to having his pic taken though. ;)

    indisputably fantastic looking animals. whenever I see desert combos, I can't help but lament their reproductive issues.

    I've also heard from multiple sources that deserts, especially females, are as ferocious as hatchlings as wild-caught animals. Justin Kobylka had a teaching video regarding the handling of aggressive babies, and I believe he uses his desert females as the feature. I'm sure it's unrelated to their infertility issues, but it does seem an odd trait to be inheritable across the board.
